During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period, China’s manufacturing sector is coming to a strategic threshold. The restructuring of global supply chain, the pressure from both upstream and downstream industrial chains, business competition, diversity of public resources, as well as domestic supply-demand dynamics present China’s die and mould industry with both challenges and opportunities. With acceleration of digitization and rising global demand, China’s die and mould enterprises demonstrate competitiveness with quality products and upgraded equipment, capacity of coordination across industries and reinforcing global influence.
